Madonna wore this creation at UNICEF’s dinner in NYC last night, and my first thought was that she looked like one of Oscar The Grouch’s relatives from Sesame Street or one of Peter Pan’s, or one of the Flintstones! I shouldn’t be so catty, her hair and makeup looked lovely for a woman of her age. The Brits had their own opinion and expressed it as only they could:

“Madonna isn’t letting her tense divorce negotiations slow her down, and last night stepped out looking positively radiant at a charity gala in New York.

The 50-year-old’s skin seemed remarkably youthful as she glammed up with the help of lashings of red lipstick.

It was almost enough to distract from her wacky green dress, which more resembled shrubbery than a red carpet party frock.”

Paris Hilton and boyfriend Benji Madden have ended their relationship.

“Sadly, it’s true,” Vanessa Fontana, a contestant on Paris‘ BFF show, told Life & Style. “Paris and Benji have split. I love Paris, and I just want her to be happy. I think that they’ll be better as friends.”

She went on to set the record straight about the rumours that Paris’ ex, Stavros Niarchos was the reason. The two had run into each other in Miami this past weekend and the photos of them talking together tete a tete were all over the internet.

Vanessa said:

“No, nobody else is involved.” Paris and Benji were loyal and faithful to each other. I was with Paris in Miami, and Stavros came over to our table, and the two of them talked for literally two minutes. It was a friendly conversation. They definitely did not hook up.”

Paris is said to be devastated by the breakup. “She wishes it could be different,” says the friend. “Benji always treated her like his princess. He’s a really great guy with a big heart and she loves him very much. Maybe at some point in the future, the two of them could try again, but right now, they’re just too different as people.”

Kelly Clarkson has finished recording her fourth album.

Producer Dr. Luke, real name: Lukasz Gottwald told Entertainment Weekly that she will be back with with a new song as early as next month.

Dr. Luke says he started developing the new song with “Since U Been Gone” collaborator Max Martin years ago. Dr. Luke says:

“After ‘Since U Been Gone,’ we wrote all these songs for Kelly.”

Great news. Her last album, My December was amazing, hopefully, this one will be too.

He has worked with Avril Lavigne, Britney Spears, Katy Perry, and Weezer.

He went on to say: “This one, which I think is the first single, we had the chorus a while ago and added the verse more recently. They were going to have it out on Nov. 20, but it just got too late. So now they’re thinking Dec. 8 for a worldwide release, but I wouldn’t be surprised if that ends up being early January.”

Dr. Luke went on to add:

“It’s sick. [Kelly] sings a song in two hours and kills it. You’re just, like, ‘holy s—.’ She has powerful lungs. She’s like the Lance Armstrong of vocal chords.”

Britney’s entire new album leaked all over the Internet this past Sunday which is more than two weeks ahead of its anticipated release date. Apparently lots of people have downloaded it already.

What a shame for her, although her fans will still buy the CD when it lands in stores because they are so loyal and devoted to her.

She’ll be at the Rockefeller Center in New York City on December 3rd to help light the holiday tree so set your Tivos to watch it. It starts at 8:00 p.m. ET on NBC.

Best friends Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato talk about their fashion secrets in the December/January issue of Seventeen magazine. Each girl shared about their own personal sense of style. Selena admits to a fondness for scarves:

“Part of my closet is just scarves. And then I’ll open drawers and find them randomly…I’m obsessed.”

Demi revealed that Selena is rubbing off on her too:

“Right now I have a big bag [that I carry around], but sometimes I don’t carry it because I hate having the weight. I think Selena has rubbed off on me, she never carries a purse.”

I knew if I waited long enough, Joe Jonas would take to his MySpace page to defend/explain himself regarding the way Taylor says he broke things off with her. He did so now. He flat out denies that he cheated on her. He wrote:

“Anytime you are in a relationship for any length of time there are going to be issues. Sometimes they resolve. Other times they lead to a change of heart,” writes Jonas. “Several things I will state with all my heart. I never cheated on a girlfriend. It might make someone feel better to assume or imply I have been unfaithful but it is simply not true.”

Taylor told Ellen DeGeneres when she guested on her show that Jo broke up with her over the phone. Jonas, who is now seeing actress Camilla Belle, said that it was Taylor who cut the call and the relationship off. He wrote in his blog:

“For those who have expressed concern over the ‘27 second’ phone call, I called to discuss feelings with the other person,” he writes. “Those feelings were obviously not well received. I did not end the conversation. Someone else did. Phone calls can only last as long as the person on the other end of the line is willing to talk.”

After typing out his side of things, it is apparent to me that he seems to be more concerned about what his fans think of him rather than of her hurt feelings. He ends his blog post by saying:

“I wish the best for the other person, but could not sit back any longer and leave our fans with a wrong impression of the truth. Hope this helps enlighten a little.”

*sigh* Such a sad situation. She said he did, he says she did.

Nick Jonas has lent his name and his sense of style to design special dog tags in honor of National Diabetes Month. The tags include a few words from The Jonas Brothers’s hit song, “A Little Bit Longer.”

Two versions of the tags are available: one for people with diabetes (it says ‘diabetes’ on the back) and one for people who are not diabetic but would like to show their support. For those interested, both tag designs are available on NicksSimpleWins.com for a donation of $5. Bayer Diabetes Care will be donating some of the proceeds from the sales to the Jonas Brothers’ Change for the Children Foundation.

The brothers recently performed at the Kristi Yamaguchi and Friends 2008 ice show that was broadcast this past Saturday, November 8th, with Demi Lovato and Jordan Pruitt.

Fergie was at the unveiling today of the Swarovski Star, which will top the Rockefeller Christmas tree that is put up each year at Rockefeller Plaza in New York.

Swarovski has donated $250,000 from the sales of its Annual Edition holiday ornament to “Clothes Off Our Back” which benefits children’s charities all over the world through charity auctions of the worlds most famous celebrities’ clothing.

“I’m happy being a part of this Swarovski program as celebrities and designers come together offering their talents to benefit the lives of children in positive ways,” said Fergie. “Swarovski’s partnership with Clothes Off Our Back brings cheer to children across the globe.”

The star weighs 550-pounds, is 9.5′ high and is created out of 25,000 crystals which will adorn the top of the gigantic Christmas tree.

Miley and her special friend Justin “the underwear model ” Gaston visited Stephen Baldwin at his book signing at the Lifeway Christian Store in Franklin, Tennessee yesterday. They met each other last year at the White House and apparently Miley dared Baldwin to get Hannah Montana’s initials and if he did she would let him appear on her Disney TV show since his daughters are fans.

When they arrived, Stephen showed off his “HM” tat and asked if he could cameo on her show, and Miley agreed.
