Lily Allen has gone to her blog in an attempt to explain her scandalous behavior at the GQ awards earlier this week.

She had been asked to be a presenter and while she was on stage told her her co-host, rock icon Sir Elton John, to eff off during a presentation.

Says Allen:

” i , now it’s all died down i’m saying my side of what I can’t believe is considered to be a story.
Elton john and I are friends. I was honoured when Elton asked me to present the GQ awards with him this year in association with Elton’s AIDS foundation. Not only was it for a good cause but who would say no to Elton.
I’m not defending my drunkeness because i don’t need to, i’m 23 it was an awards ceremony i drank the free champagne, how awful of me.
Trying to create a feud on the other hand, and trying to make me out as being some rude little girl with a drink problem is just unfair, Elton and I exchanged jokes and there were no hard feelings at all, infact neither of us gave it a second thought. It’s sad that an evening enjoyed by all had to ruined by some bitter journos again.
Alfie and Jamie had never been engaged, Jamie and I are the best of friends and I was just winding Alfie up , he’s my little brother and that’s what siblings do. Jamie wasn’t pissed off with me, if she was i would have known about it, believe me.
This isn’t meant to be a place for me to respond to journalists, but I am very grateful I have this page, if i didn’t then i would have absolutely no voice when it comes to this stuff.
All these showbiz journalists are just bullies when it comes down to it. I have felt really very bullied this week.I realise that when i first started this job I slagged a few people off when I probably shouldn’t have and I have been opinionated about some things, but i haven’t said a bad word about anyone for a long time, even when I have wanted to, even when people have tried to start feuds and said horrible things about me when they’d never even met me, when they’d based an opinion on me because of something they’d read. It’s hurtful, but it’s fine if you want to print a picture of me and say how awful I look, how much weight i’ve put on or how terrible my choice of clothes were that day. In my opinion it’s still a form of bullying and if anyone spoke to any of my friends like that to their faces i’d want to kill them. But character assasination is another thing it’s just not needed.

I turned up and presented an awards ceremony for charity, i drank some champagne and went home for 12.30 and again I’ve been made to feel like a bad friend and an embarassment to my fans and the people who support me. I shouldn’t have to defend myself when i’ve done nothing wrong.
And by the way, to all the photographers waiting outside my house. I won’t be leaving for a while, all my friends have gone to Bestival and i’ve got enough food and fags to last me till wednesday, so you might as well fuck off and find somebody else to make miserable.”

Not a classy apology/explanation when she signs off at the end telling the paparazzi to eff off.
Doesn’t she realize that not everyone knows the extent of her relationship with Elton. To all those people watching, she looked like a spoiled and drunk fool. There is really no way to know that they are indeed friends and that this was a bit of friendly teasing!

Check out this clip of an obviously trashed Lily Allan disrespecting Elton John at the GQ Man Of The Year Awards. Doesn’t she realize she is the punchline to a very sad joke with behavior like this? There is no queen like an old queen and Elton definitely put her in her place proving he still has what it takes like he sings in the song he made famous “The Bitch Is Back.” I must say I admire his restraint.

I realize she miscarried a few months ago, maybe she’s still in a lot of pain and isn’t happy with her life but still… this is not an excuse for her outrageous behavior.

She is nominated for Best Female Video for “Piece of Me.” Russell will be hosting the annual awards show, which will be airing live from Paramount Studios in Hollywood on the 7th of September.

She’s looking healthy and happy and her weave looks decent as well!

Harvard has named Paris “Woman of the Year”. She will be honoured on Feb 6th she will even give a speech! It wasn’t actually Harvard University honouring Paris it was actually their comedy magazine called Harvard Lampoon. I can’twait to hear her speech on youtube. Obviously she wont write her speech she will probably hire someone!

“I wish I didn’t do the VMAs. I totally regret it. I liked the jokes I did, but all anyone focused on was that it was mean. But they put me on immediately after Britney, so I had to do jokes. Everyone else laughed, but Britney wasn’t ready to laugh at herself. Every time she’s been on the VMAs, it’s been a spectacle - something amazing. I heard she was gonna have this magician, there’d be fire and smoke, and I would be the little comedian making fun of the big star. I caught a glimpse of her at rehearsal and she was walking through it, and then at the actual performance, she did that same thing! And then I come out and I’m an asshole.”

There was obviously something wrong with Britney while she was doing the VMA’s either Criss Angel canceled last minute or she was too drugged up to do the stunts.  I am surprised Sarah is talking about this now, you think she would have just come right out and said it right after the VMA’s.

This could be the start of something terrible. Angelic Hilary Duff hooked up with Hayden (Lindsay Lohan 2.0) at the Teen Choice Awards. Hopefully they will just stay buddies, but not become the new “It Girl” party scene. With Lindsay in rehab and Britney heading to jail (or at least to another mental breakdown), lets hope Hayden doesn’t turn Hilary into some dirty girl!

GQ Magazine held their 10th annual awards ceremony (honoring influential stars of fashion and pop culture) in London on September 4th and bestowed the coveted title of International Man of The Year to Kanye West. Rosario Dawson the actress presented his award at the ceremony which took place at London’s Royal Opera House. Kanye has decent music but as a person he is just completely full of himself, and I probably could stand to be near him for more than 2 minutes. Why didn’t they give this award to Timbaland or Justin Timberlake, those are the two men of the year! They are working super hard and producing tons of mega hits!
