Simon Cowell’s brother to make documentary on Haiti charity single
Simon Cowell’s brother Tony is to make a documentary on the making of his sibling’s Haiti charity single.
The six-minute documentary will be available to radio stations if they donate money to help Haiti.
Tony is heard speaking to some of the record’s contributors such as Susan Boyle, Mika and James Morrison, as well as Simon, during the documentary.
Tony said that radio has helped many after the devastating earthquake and he has made the documentary to support his broadcasting colleagues in Haiti.
According to a source, he said: “I saw on TV how radio stations were giving out vital information and how the US military were giving out wind-up radios to victims.
“But it’s not only that public service function that’s so important, as we know radio entertains, too. So, I think radio will continue to play an important role in the months and years to come.”
