Kate Moss never wanted to model

Kate Moss has said she never wanted to be a model and thought the profession was ‘vain’ and ‘embarrassing’.

The 35-year-old star has been the face of brands such as Burberry and Rimmel and is one of the most recognised supermodels in the world.

However, she admitted that it was never her dream to become part of the modelling profession.

She said: “I would never have thought about being a model, ever.

“I remember meeting this girl in Florida, maybe the year before I started, and she was the daughter of a friend of my dad.

“She was like: ‘I wanna be a model.’ I thought it was so vain, really embarrassing.”
