Natalie Portman was boring teenager

>Natalie Portman has revealed she was a boring teenager – not getting into “pot” or drinking heavily until she was a student.

The screen beauty said she shied away from socialising with her peers while at school.

And she said she began to experiment with drink and drugs only when she went to university.

She said: “OK, so I didn’t really go to high-school parties.

“I didn’t touch pot ’til I was in my 20s.

“I didn’t get flat-out drunk until I went to college.”

She told a US magazine: “But I think that’s a good thing in many ways.”

Natalie, 28, finished her psychology degree at America’s exclusive Harvard University while she was filming the Star Wars movie series.

She has said in the past: “I’d rather be smart than a movie star.”
