Aerosmith confused about their split-up:

It seems Steve Tyler was present at one of Joe Perry’s solo gigs where he again baffled Aerosmith fans about the band’s supposed break-up. Steve Tyler keeps his idea of the band not breaking up, but Joe Perry has a different view: “There was all this commotion during our encore break and somebody said, ‘Steven is here.’ I was like, ‘What?’…So he came up and sang and that was the last I saw of him…He wants to take two years off from the band. The rest of the band wants to keep on working. We have so many different options to fill up that time. Anything is possible at this point.” So it’s a matter of different perspective. It seems Steve Tyler’s idea of a small vacation doesn’t agree with Joe Perry’s continuous artistic libido. But everybody’s still confused… maybe Steve Tyler should take advantage of that state and enjoy his vacation while it lasts.
