Anna Friel almost forgot lines when spectator threw up over audience
Actress Anna Friel has told how she almost forgot her lines when a spectator threw up over audience members.
The 33-year-old star is playing the role of Holly Golightly in the stage version of the classic tale.
She was performing one of the shows when an member of the audience threw up over the balcony of the Haymarket Theatre in London over six people sitting below.
Following a performance, she said: “I thought it was latecomers who shouldn’t have been allowed in. I carried on singing but almost lost my way as there was such a noise coming from the seats.
“I almost lost it, but am glad I kept my concentration.”
However, the six patrons returned to their seats after the interval along with the sickly member of the audience.
