Drew Barrymore gives Posh gown a big tick

Drew Barrymore has given Victoria Beckham a Hollywood seal of approval by donning one of her designer gowns.

Barrymore showed off a Giral gown from Beckham’s range at the premiere of Everybody’s Fine in Los Angeles. The actress, 34, appeared in a calf-length after-five gown that was worn by Beckham in one of her guest judging stints on American Idol.

She wore the £1750 stunner as she attended the very posh event with co-star Kate Beckinsale, posing for snappers to show of the detail of its zippered back.

Barrymore has lately shown a knack for picking the right frock, dazzling viewers and fashionista with her recent choice of a very conservative mushroom pink Hollywood gown at the Emmy Awards.

Singer Katherine Jenkins chose the design for an awards night in London in September. Kelly Ripa wore it in New York and supermodel Elle Macpherson was transformed in a black version.
