Owen Wilson providing canine voice to Marmaduke

Owen Wilson will provide his voice to the part of a dog in the upcoming Marmaduke.
The movie will be a Fox adaptation of a long-running comic strip. Wilson will provide the Great Dane’s voice in a tale of a family, the Winslows, that moves from red-neck country in Kansas to the California beach culture of Orange County.
In a plot twist, Marmaduke will take part in a Mutts vs Pedigrees turf war. Other actors signed on to play humans include the smooth William H. Macy, Judy Greer and Lee Pace. Other voices will be provided by the likes of Fergie, and Damon and Marlon Wayans.
Wilson has already starred opposite a dog in Fox’s Marley & Me and provided voice work for the new Wes Anderson flick with George Clooney, The Fantastic Mr. Fox.
Wilson was previously linked to Kate Hudson, who has been his co-star. He went through a dark chapter when he suffered a nervous breakdown at one point but managed to rally. Rumours of a revived stint with Hudson made the rounds but the pair appeared to remain good friends.
