With her fame emerging, Rumer Willis already appears wisened to the ways of Hollywood.
Willis, whose famous parents Demi Moore and Bruce Willis have no doubt given her a primer on the pitfalls of celebrity, said she feels sympathy for Mischa Barton and Lindsay Lohan.
The 21-year-old said: “I do feel very sorry for Mischa Barton. This whole world is very enticing. When you start getting famous it’s exciting. But I’ve grown up having to deal with what’s real and what’s not and I just don’t care about that type of thing. I have better things to do.”
Barton was recently hospitalised for psychiatric observation after a meltdown in Hollywood. Lohan, meanwhile, has her troubled relationship with Samantha Ronson chronicled weekly.
Willis, who is seeing Micah Alberti, drew attention in Sydney this week when she turned up for a Foxtel multi-channel launch with Alberti and Liam Hemsworth, who is rumoured to be seeing Miley Cyrus.
She said: “I think it’s important that the only people you have in your life are people who support you and are positive.”
Aspiring actress Willis is set to appear in Slightly Single In LA and Sorority Row.
Actress Kristen Davis wants to be in a Western film.
The Sex and The City star wants to be in a Western film because she loves horses and it would be her acting dream to do so.
The 44-year-old said: “I just love horses. I want to be the girl on the horse.”
Davis is currently in the Big Apple filming the sequel to the SATC film and has revealed that her and her co-stars are finding it hard to adjust back into their roles.
She told Australia’s Sydney Morning Herald newspaper: “We get rusty with the walking and talking in high heels. Our feet are killing us. We are not back up to fighting shape and we have to get tough again.”
Reality star Kim Kardashian is reportedly back together with on/off boyfriend Reggie Bush.
Kim, 28, split from NFL star Reggie, 24, in July and their separation remained amicable. The pair were later seen together in New Orleans but they failed to reconcile.
A source close to the pair said: “They’re totally back together for real.
“Kim and Reggie spent a few months apart getting their priorities together and figuring out who they were as individuals so they can make it work together.”
It is also claimed that the pair are so close that Reggie’s parents even attended Kim’s sister Khloe’s recent wedding to LA Lakers player Lamar Odom.

Smirnoff, from the Ukraine, has admitted that she used to wear fur, but stopped after watching video footage of baby seals being killed for their skins.

Brad Pitt has used a panel for the Clinton Global Initiative to extol the achievements of his New Orleans housing project, which seeks to make it right in the city, still recovering from Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
Pitt said electricity for a home built with solar panels by the Make It Right foundation cost $35. He said: “I don’t know how we build any other way anywhere else. We can no longer tell ourselves that implementing this technology is too complex a problem because it’s just been proven on this little spot on the map.”
Pitt’s foundation, launched in 2007, is building 150 homes in the city’s Lower Ninth Ward. Katrina wrought huge destruction on the area.
The Clinton Global Initiative is an annual event begun by former president Bill Clinton to bring together the public and private sector for discussions on climate change, poverty, global health and education.

She told British Grazia magazine: “I’m such a big fan of Lady GaGa’s style because she’s so brave and the real deal – I’m fascinated by how she dresses.”
Despite loving GaGa’s wild style, the Girls Aloud star also loves how the very fashionable model Kate Moss and actress Sienna Miller dress.
Cheryl said: “They’ve got the whole ‘no effort beauty’ thing going on… they look thrown together-super-glam make-up and then a scruffy bun and it just seems to work on them. I really love that.”
Oscar-winning actress Julia Roberts has been asked to restore access to a Hindu temple after film-makers shut the area to shoot new movie Eat, Pray, Love.
Roberts, 41, is currently filming her new movie in India and has provoked a storm of criticism from Hindu and Jewish leaders that the temple in Pataudi was closed to worshippers.
Hindu statesman Rajan Zed and prominent Jewish leader Rabbi Jonathan B Freirich said in a statement that it was “very insensitive” to keep devotees away from their place of worship.
A major ten-day Hindu festival, Navratri, is currently under way and film-makers have been called “cruel” for denying worshippers access to the sacred temple, which they have reportedly been visiting since 1948.
According to reports, access inside the Ashram Harimandir hermitage has been denied to locals and villagers were given conditions as to when they could attend the temple to tie in with the movie’s shooting schedule.

Sex and The City stars Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall are arguing on set while filming for the new movie.
Sarah, 44, and Kim, 53, who are both currently filming for the SATC 2 sequel movie, are reportedly hardly speaking to each other on set.
An insider told British Star magazine: “While the cast is all smiles on the outside, the level of dislike is unbelievable.
“No-one is having a good time on this shoot.”
Supposedly the crew have given SJP, who plays the character Carrie Bradshaw in SATC, a new nickname for looking miserable all the time.
The source added: “The crew have taken to calling her ‘Carrie Sadshaw.’”
“When she doesn’t have to be ‘on’ in her scenes, she looks so sad. She has little cries by herself.”
Cattrall and Parker have famously not got along through filming for the SATC TV series and the making of the first film but now the tension is higher than ever.
The source added: “Kim has been taking every chance to snipe. You could cut the tension with a knife. Their fighting has also made Cynthia Nixon and Kristin David miserable, too.”
Neil Patrick Harris emerged as a winner as the host of the Emmy Awards in Los Angeles.
Harris, who opened the show with a snappy song and dance routine a la Oscars host Hugh Jackman, has got some stellar reviews to add to his resume.
“Neil Patrick Harris did a standout job, starting with the hilarious opening number, during which he showed his musical talent, and continuing with his mock outrage over losing to Jon Cryer. Harris was affable, charming and simultaneously self-deprecating and comically self-aggrandising,” said critic Frank Scheck.
Harris, a 36-year-old openly gay actor, took a low-key classic showbiz approach in a white jacket that did not claim attention for himself. Mary McNamara of the Los Angeles Times said: “Harris, fresh off his success at hosting the Tonys, set and sustained the smart but lighthearted and convivial tone of the evening. From the moment he walked onstage, itself a richer and more evocative setting than last year’s bleak theatre-in-the-round, you knew you were in good hands.”
Harris has earlier said: “Rather than ignore those who choose to publish their opinions without actually talking to me, I am happy to dispel any rumours or misconceptions and am quite proud to say that I am a very content gay man living my life to the fullest and feel most fortunate to be working with wonderful people in the business I love.”

The wildly popular and lucrative social networking site Twitter is launching a crackdown on fake celebrity accounts.
Twitter had previously allowed celebrity impostors as long as it was clear the posts weren’t genuine. But it is trialling a new system to verify famous accounts that posts a small label marked “verified account” and a tick in the case of a genuine celebrity.
Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher both have verified accounts, as does Elizabeth Taylor, Chris Brown, Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson.
A Twitter spokesman said: “We’re working to establish authenticity, starting with well-known accounts that have had problems with impersonation or identity confusion.”
The crackdown follows a lawsuit mounted by Tony La Russa, an American baseball coach. He took legal action after his name was used in a phony account.
La Russa claimed some impostor posts make fun of the death of two of his players. Twitter for its part claims La Russa has no legal case.
Stars William Shatner, Christopher Walken and Ewan McGregor have impostors with tens of thousands of followers. Almost any big name star has a handful of phoney Twitter accounts. Katie Holmes is a good example.
The fake Twitter accounts imagine the life of the star and include posts that are factually accurate in some cases, having been taken from newsites.
