Pete Wentz takes back rumors of split

The bassist from Fall Out Boy who apparently spread a few rumors that the band was going to split last week because they have no plans for new material has now taken everything back. Pete Wentz said: “I think I fueled that rumor accidentally. I think that when someone asked me if we were working on any new Fall Out Boy songs, I said, ‘No, not right now.’ We’re working on getting the Blink-182 tour. Then we’ll see where we’re standing. I don’t know that the world has to be all Fall Out Boy, all the time. When I see stuff like that with other bands, it sort of drives me crazy.” Well, you know… everybody expects new albums. Take the band into a new direction, give it a new feel while keeping the same style… people need to have stuff to spend their money on. Hasn’t Pete Wentz figured this all out during his long years in the music industry?
