Liam Gallagher dismisses his brother’s solo plans

The front man from Oasis has vowed to disband the whole band if his brother, guitarist Noel Gallagher, goes through with his plans of recording a solo album. Liam Gallagher said: “I could do that, but I don’t want to do that. I’m in Oasis, you know what I mean? If everyone starts going off doing solo records then you might as well just fucking split the band up. I’m part of a band and that’s the way it is. If you go on going off doing solo records then there’s no Oasis. Someone’s got to be here keeping it together.” Somehow it doesn’t seem like Liam Gallagher is doing that good a job keeping the band together, especially since he insists on keeping everybody on such a short leash. If Liam and Noel weren’t brothers, Oasis’ days were probably numbered, but sibling rivalry such as this is probably very normal.
