Father of the year Michael Lohan *cough* had made an announcement a couple of weeks back saying he was quitting his blog… but daddy dearest is back online only this time he’s restricted to 140 characters!
Michael Lohan, daddy of Lindsay Lohan, took to his Twitter last night to go public with his ongoing concern yet again for his wayward daughter’s health.
Lindsay must be cringing! Michael wrote:
my daughter needs help. please, reach out to her it saddens ALl of us. godbless
how long do we have to sit back and wait for something tragic to happen?
We’re biting our fingernails in anticipation for Lindsay and saMAN’s MySpace blog response!
Yes the man is concerned, but he is NOT helping her at all. He needs a job. STAT.
As for his wayward daughter, Lindsay and SaMan are on/off again and she decided to entertain herself by sending a sh*t load of texts to Chace Crawford. Then for reasons known only to her, she then showed up unannounced on the Gossip Girl actor’s doorstep at around 6 A.M.
I don’t think he took it too well, he apparently didn’t answer her ring.
Ben Stiller performed a funny take on Joaquin Phoenix’s infamous appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman during last night’s Oscars.
Ben walked onstage looking like the spitting image of Joaquin wearing a fuzzy beard and shades. He acted just as wacked out as Joaquin had been when he guested on Letterman and chewed gum the same way. At the end of his little skit, Ben spit out his gum and put the piece on Top of the podium with the same panache as Joaquin did when he stuck his under Lettermans’ desk.
Miley Cyrus looks lovely in a silver Zuhair Murhad gown as she arrived at the 2009 Oscars held at the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles tonight. She went with her mom, not her boyfriend.
She accessorized with a Mary Norton clutch, Neil Lane jewels and BCBG shoes. Miley’s animated film, Bolt, is nominated for Best Animated Feature.
The song she sings with John Travolta in the film ‘Thought I lost you’ is really good.

New friends Lindsay and Lily spent some time hanging together at the Chateau Marmont on Wednesday, and then decided to hit a late-night tattoo parlor to get matching tats, the very same tat Rihanna has on her index finger. It says “shhh”
It’s a ridiculous tat X 3. Wonder who Daddy Lohan will blame this time?

In the episode called, “Welcome to the Bungle,” Hannah Montana (Cyrus) guests on the Mack and Mickey show and her casual remark about not liking carrots makes her fans stop eating them. So Hannah goes back on the show to make amends, but again, bungles another line saying that she would rather watch movies instead of read books.

Luther Campbell who is a member of 2 Live Crew won’t be singing his song, “Me So Horny” anytime soon. He was taken into custody at a pre-trial detention centre in Miami-Dade County on Tuesday (17Feb09) for allegedly failing to make child support payments.
The arrest follows a court order issued on 6 February (09) demanding payment in a paternity case filed against Campbell by the mother of his child Shakera Morgan.
He will only be released after he posts $10,200 in child support fees, according to county jail spokesperson Janelle Hall.

Camilla’s latest film, Push, is in theaters now. The JoBros have their film, Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience, due to drop on February 27.
Amy Winehouse has just been released from the hospital in St. Lucia where she had been rushed to after collapsing in front of friends. Her publicist had said she had run out of her medication that she was using to try to kick her crack and alcohol problems.
She has been in St. Lucia trying to deal with her demons, but what she really needs is a controlled environment where she not only “cleans up” but learns the coping skills to live a full and productive life without drugs/alcohol.
I wish her the best, but sadly at this stage in her life, it’s very apparent she needs a professional intervention so that she can get the help and support she needs to get clean.

“On February 14th we will be performing on Saturday Night Live. Most of that week actually we will be in NYC doing press letting everyone know about our 3D movie which comes out February 27th. This month will round out with lots of promo for the premiere of our 3D Movie, continuing to record our TV series, JONAS, appearing in the ‘Barbara Walters Oscar Night Special’ and much more. Mandy Moore and her singer-songwriter boyfriend, Ryan Adams, are engaged. The couple have been on and off again during the past year and while grocery shopping in LA yesterday, Mandy reportedly was seen wearing a ring on her engagement finger.
“She is so excited about their engagement but admits it’s been a whirlwind. She’s really happy,” a source tells Life&Style.
Ryan is formerly of the alt-country band Whiskeytown. He played solo for a long time and also toured with members of the Grateful Dead and is now singing with The Cardinals.
Mandy recently announced that she’s taking a step back from her clothing line, Mblem, so that she can concentrate on her music career.
Some had wondered if she had gotten back together with her ex DJ AM as she had rushed to his hospital beside after he was injured in that plane crash last year. The paps also took pictures when they were spotted together after he had been released but apparently they are still good friends.
Concert event organizers in Malaysia have postponed a concert Rihanna was scheduled to perform there this coming February 13th citing “recent events involving Rihanna.”
Reps for the show stress that it is NOT canceled, as Rihanna’s people will come up with a make-up date sometime in the next two weeks. The show in Kuala Lumpur was the subject of heavy press after Rihanna agreed to conform with Malaysia’s strict rules on performers’ outfits.
Wrigley’s has suspended Chris Brown’s Doublemint ads until his legal problems are sorted. Chris’s hit song “Forever” has a built-in Doublemint reference.
Wrigley’s statement was just released:
“Wrigley is concerned by the serious allegations made against Chris Brown. We believe Mr. Brown should be afforded the same due process as any citizen. However, we have made the decision to suspend the current advertising featuring Brown and any related marketing communications until the matter is resolved.”
Chris Brown accompanied by his attorney Mark Geragos surrendered himself to LAPD Sunday night after his alleged assault on his girlfriend Rihanna. He had split from the scene and she called 911 and was taken to hospital with ‘visible injuries’ later described as ‘bites, bruises, and scratches.’
He and RiRi had gotten into an argument after leaving Clive Davis’ Grammy party on Saturday night and both had to cancel their Grammy appearances.
