Madonna At UNICEF’S Dinner In NYC

Madonna wore this creation at UNICEF’s dinner in NYC last night, and my first thought was that she looked like one of Oscar The Grouch’s relatives from Sesame Street or one of Peter Pan’s, or one of the Flintstones! I shouldn’t be so catty, her hair and makeup looked lovely for a woman of her age. The Brits had their own opinion and expressed it as only they could:

The 50-year-old’s skin seemed remarkably youthful as she glammed up with the help of lashings of red lipstick.

It was almost enough to distract from her wacky green dress, which more resembled shrubbery than a red carpet party frock.”
