Gerri Halliwell Named Best Selling Children’s Author Of 2008
Gerri gives Girl Power a whole new meaning!
Spice Girl Geri Halliwell has been named best selling children’s author of 2008. Her book series Ugenia Lavender which centers around the antics of a mischievous nine year old has sold over 250,000 copies in the UK.
According to British retailer WHSmith, Geri has also been named one of the most successful celebrity authors in recent years.
Halliwell says:
“I’m so happy that everyone loves Ugenia as much as I do.”
She also announced early this week that she has just written her first film screenplay.
