Michael Lohan Beaks Off

Lindsay Lohan’s offer to help Barack Obama was rejected by the Democratic candidate’s campaign, and her father is beaking off about it to the press.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Lindsay wanted to promote Obama but was turned away by his staffers due to her wild ways.

Mr. Lohan’s email to Pop Tarts:

“For Barack Obama to condemn my daughter for past indiscretions when he admitted to the exact same himself is indicative of what kind of president he would be.”

“His visions of a positive future for this country should be representative of a positive future for people as well. It is looking beyond the difficult times and letting go of the past,” Michael said. “Obviously, Obama can do this for himself and not others, when in fact a good president should have hope for all.”

On Tuesday night, Michael attended the Somaly Mam Foundation’s “New Dreams” benefit, which fights the $12 billion-a-year sex trafficking industry. Apparently he’s looking for a star/celebrity to go some rounds the boxing ring to raise more money for numerous charities, with Perez Hilton being his top pick to punch.

A boxing match is too tame, a cage fight would be something I would consider donating to!
