Miley dropped by a post office in Burbank, California on Saturday afternoon to renew her passport with her mom Tish who is also her manager, and her younger sister Noah.
Miley was recently raked over by Project Runway fashion guru Tim Gunn. He told OK! magazine:
“”[Miley Cyrus] is just a little too tarty, forgive me. I don’t want her to look like she’s going into a convent school, but it’s just a little too much for a 15-year-old. If I didn’t know better, I’d swear she was 25!”
What’s with him anyways? Who does he think he is, does he want her to dress like a baby? She’s a star, a diva, she’s Hannah Montana for frig sake!
Simpson needs to explain in exhausting detail what every single song is about, and the endless banter kills any momentum. She’s still living in a reality show, convinced everyone is so fascinated with her personal life, they’d rather hear her talk than sing.
This was in the Niagra Falls Review for Jessica’s concert in Ontario. I have to admit, when I go to concerts the odd chatting is ok but usually I just want to hear them sing. I feel that many of these celebrities (including Jessica) should go back to school and learn a thing or two about life. I feel the reason why so many of these celebutards fail is that they are basically just grown children. If Jessica went back to school and earned some sort of degree, say in Political Science or Biology, I think people would respect her a bit more. She has played the dumb blonde for too long and it is time to give her image an overhaul.
The fact that Jessica talked about her farting problem just confirms my point.
“I do pass gas a lot. I guarantee it smells like roses.”
Here she is at an airport in Germany, strolling through airport security wearing a fuzzy robe, clip on bangs and black sneakers and she gets away with it. If any of us regular peeps tried to get through looking like that we’d be pulled aside and our sanity questioned most likely missing our flight.
She and Michael Jackson must be on the same wavelength. They both seem to be dialed into the same channel … and that is the “Over-inflated sense of entitlement” one. Hmm, now that I think about it, didn’t the two of them date each other years ago?
I watched a little clip of Ashlee Simpson and her beautiful pregnant baby belly when she sat down for a chat with ET Canada. She seems really content as she happily gabbed on about her great marriage and the upcoming birth of their baby and the preparations they are doing to get their home baby-proofed:
“We’re getting the nursery ready, “I can’t wait to be a mom and he can’t wait to be a dad, so it’s fun. I have the greatest husband. He’s so awesome. It’s fun to have somebody that I love to do this with.”
She also talked about how grateful she is for her family’s support:
“My mom and my grandmother [have] given me good motherly advice, but it’s one of those things where your mother instincts kind of kick in right away.”
She also revealed that they still haven’t decided on a name for their baby… at least not yet:
“I don’t think it’s something we’ll decide until the baby comes.”
She’s still writing songs but isn’t planning on going into the studio until after the birth of the baby:
“The baby is my main focus right now,” she says. “We’re both so excited. I mean, this is definitely the happiest moment in my life.”
How can this be the happiest moment of her life when she is only waiting for the baby… wouldn’t she have the happiest moment once the baby arrives?!
Mos Def the musician/ poet/activist who has been featured in some rap videos is accused of being the instigator of another physical run-in with a photographer in Las Vegas.
Mos was at the MAGIC fashion convention at the Las Vegas Hilton when he got all pi**ed off and freaked out by ripping the camera from a man’s neck which resulted in a small injury to the snapper’s hand. Mos then supposedly handed the camera over to a security guard and bolted.
He is now being investigated for larceny from a person.
Mos needs to stop being violent and start practicing what he preaches which is peace and equality.
Michael informed the press that he picked out a ring and is ready to propose, but of course it isn’t official. This is because he can then re announce to get more press time. Man this guy doesn’t shut up. Expect an announcement in a few weeks if he ever resolves his ‘family issues’. Oh and the *cough* ‘lucky’ bride to be is Erin Muller (who has been a longtime girlfriend).
Michael said, “We picked out a ring, but it’s not official.” He said they will officially announce their engagement when “some family issues are resolved.”
Jessica recently talked about the timing of the release of her latest album:
“I hadn’t been singing for a long time, and I finally got to that place where I was comfortable opening up again,” Jessica said. “I’d been going through a divorce, and I wasn’t really strong enough to (sing); I had to go through the hurt and healing. I had to sit back and relax and go through everything like a normal person would.”
I seem to remember that she was the one that filed for divorce, not him and if going through the hurt and healing is done by going on a dating frenzy then I guess all those rebound guys gave her the inspiration she needed!
Jessica wanted to set the record straight about the public’s misconception about what drives her although the few episodes of the show I watched showed me that she was more focused on her career than she was her marriage. She had this to say:
“that I’m just in it for the money and the paparazzi – they really think that what they see in the tabloids is how I live my life,” she said. When we did Newlyweds, I felt that people really got to see me for who I am – the fun side of me, the hardworking, normal girl who burps and falls flat on her face.”
Her boyfriend Tony Romo has purchased a home in a Dallas county gated community suburb that also has a golf course. It’s over 5000 square feet with 5 bedrooms, 4 full and two half baths, a games room, pool and spa. She’s supposedly going to help him redecorate it.
Not sure how true this is, but supposedly”Scary Spice” Melanie Brown and hubby Stephen Belafonte have worked out a deal with OK! magazine to photograph their celebration when they renew their vows at a ritzi resort in Egypt later this year, but there’s a twist. If they want to get their $400,000 paycheck, there has to be a large assortment of celebrity guests.
The Mirror is reporting that Mel has invited the ususal, family and friends, but has been a wee bit short when it comes to A List celebs so she has begun inviting celebrities she has never even met with promises of first-class flights and luxury hotel accommodations.
I seriously doubt the story. Mel doesn’t NEED the money nor the publicity and she doesn’t strike me as being desperate at all when it comes to having enough friends to fill the guest list!
Now this is an interesting picture. It’s KFed having fun celebrating with his ex Shar Jackson at her birthday party held at Blush nightclub at the Wynn in Vegas. Now I realize that he is the father of their children, but the man left her while she was pregnant to get with Britney.
Britney is paying 20 grand a month in child support so I suppose he can afford to party with his ex in Vegas! This is all too cozy isn’t it? Makes me wonder if they planned this together because what woman with any sense of self-respect would want to socialize with an ex that cheated?
I’m all for co-parenting together for the sake of the children, like… if they had celebrated her birthday with the kids … but here they are without them so it’s … a bit … too much for me. I do give Shar credit for always keeping her mouth shut when it came to KFed and Brit. I’ve not read one negative word from her ever about either of them.
I don’t feel sorry for Britney at all if she sees this. What goes around comes around…
Ok, so maybe they aren’t socks (Balenciaga shoes), but they might as well be. Riri’s style is just rubbing me the wrong way these days. I want her to go back to her hot little self before this whole short hair cut, and alien type clothing. I just don’t know how she looks in the mirror and says DAMN I am hot in these. Then struts it down a PUBLIC street! I have heard some rumors from her former manager that she is broke, but she really doesn’t seem to be skipping a beat. I bet she paid a fortune for those shoes (unless of course someone paid her to wear them?)
Beyonce, put in an appearance in support of Michelle Williams and sister Solange at J&R’s MusicFest concert series in City Hall Park, New York City on Thursday.
Beyonce, and her mom Tina Knowles are expanding their line of fashion jewelry. Dereon and House of Dereon, are reportedly in negotiations with jewelry firm Carolee for a diamond collection.
Ricky Martin is now a daddy of twin boys. His bouncing bundles of joy were delivered by a surrogate mother a few weeks ago and he has taken some time off to raise his children as a full-time daddy. His rep released the following statement:
“The children, delivered via gestational surrogacy, are healthy and already under Ricky’s full-time care,” his rep said in a statement. “Ricky is elated to begin this new chapter in his life as a parent and will be spending the remainder of the year out of the public spotlight in order to spend time with his children.”
Congratulations to Ricky, his two new sons and family.
Clay Aiken, 29, and his friend Jaymes Foster who is music producer David Foster’s sister welcomed a baby boy also via artificial insemination.
Is artificial insemination the new trend in Hollywood or is it just a phase?!
Christina has jumped on the bandwagon and lent her name to a perfume. That description is a wee bit too much. Why would I want a perfume that will make me as self-assured like Christina? When I look at pictures of her in her wearing all that make-up it makes me wonder if she isn’t a wee bit insecure and feels the need to overcompensate.
The photoshop is really well done. They have her looking like a Barbie doll.
Anyways, she may have marketable appeal to a select group of customers I would think. Practically nobody is going to pull out their hard earned cash to buy a perfume because Christina smells just like it.
Some celebrity products have not done so well, for example Posh’s denim line and Lauren Conrad have proven that if they don’t wear their stuff in public, or make it outrageously expensive, regular people cannot afford it. She is considered to be a very talented singer, why doesn’t she stick with what she does best?!
So many of the celebrities lines are tacky now, they don’t have the prestige they used to.
Lindsay has done an “exclusive photo shoot” for Korea’s premiere issue of Nylon magazine. There are more photos on their website if any of you are interested in checking them out. She needs her roots touched up and thankfully she isn’t fake’n'bake orange in colour, other than that she looks good.Now something a bit more scandalous has just surfaced. Some chica named Courtenay Semel who just happens to be the daughter of Yahoo CEO Terry Semel is hissing/snitching through a friend that she was Lindsay’s first lesbian love. “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned” comes to mind!Her so called friend (although it wouldn’t surprise me if it actually was Courtney) quoted Courtenay as saying:“Everyone thinks Samantha is Lindsay’s first lesbian love, but we were very passionate until her fear of being found out drove us apart. But then Samantha [Ronson] came on to the scene and I was dropped.”It really doesn’t feel good being the dumpee which is why I recommend doing the dumping and for feck’s sake girls, do not act like the pathetic fool and whine about it publicly.
